Dr. Feras Taqatqeh is a highly experienced specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery with a strong focus on the surgical and conservative treatment of Lipedema, as well as body contouring. As the founder and director of the specialized LipoXpert Clinic in Amman, he follows a holistic treatment approach that combines the latest surgical and conservative techniques with personalized aftercare, nutritional counseling, and patient-centered coaching.
After completing his medical studies at Ruhr-University Bochum and earning his doctorate with the highest honors (summa cum laude), Dr. Taqatqeh began his clinical career in general and visceral surgery. He later specialized in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery at several renowned clinics in Germany. A particularly formative period was his time at the University Hospital in Dresden, where he deepened his expertise in body contouring after massive weight loss and functional reconstruction.
His surgical spectrum includes advanced liposuction techniques (such as water-jet assisted liposuction, WAL), body lift procedures, and complex reconstructive surgeries following trauma or tumor treatment. He also has many years of experience in microsurgical flap procedures and aesthetic surgery. In addition, he is a certified hand surgeon.
Dr. Taqatqeh’s scientific commitment is reflected in numerous peer-reviewed publications on reconstructive techniques and post-traumatic restoration—especially in the context of complex wound healing disorders. He actively contributes to the advancement of lipedema surgery and is dedicated to raising awareness and professional recognition of this condition.
Clinic Manager – Pre & Post Operative Care
With over 15 years of expertise in wound care and compression therapy, Amer Farahat plays a key role in guiding patients before and after surgery. He holds a B.S. in Nursing and is internationally trained as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) through Klose Training USA, an Advanced Lymphedema Therapist from Foldi Clinic Germany, and a Certified Trainer from Jobst Academy UK. Amer is also a member of the International Compression Club (ICC) and has completed specialized programs at the University of Toronto and LTA UK in lipedema management.
At LipoXpert, Amer oversees pre‑ and post‑operative care, guiding patients with precision in compression therapy, wound management, and recovery planning. His role ensures that every patient benefits from safe, effective, and holistic care, combining international best practices with personalized attention. Dr. Shaden Ebeidat is a medical doctor and public health graduate who supports patient care at LipoXpert Clinic. With experience in surgical assistance, wound management, and post‑operative planning, she ensures patients receive safe and compassionate treatment. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Jordan University of Science and Technology and is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Warwick, UK. Working closely with Dr. Feras Taqtqeh, she combines medical precision with empathy to guide patients through their treatment journey
Clinical Nutritionist
Ebba Ghanem is a Clinical Nutrition Specialist holding a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition. She has completed multiple advanced training programs in therapeutic nutrition, including diabetes care, kidney disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), gastrointestinal disorders, and sports nutrition.
She specializes in managing lipedema and lymphedema cases, applying an evidence‑based nutritional approach that focuses on reducing inflammation and supporting the lymphatic system within a specialized clinical setting.
Physiotherapist Supervisor
Noor Ali Abo‑Alia is a skilled physiotherapist specializing in the management of lymphedema, lipedema, and post‑operative care. A graduate of the Hashemite University (BSc Physiotherapy, 2017), she is trained in manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), compression therapy, and therapeutic exercise.
At LipoXpert, Noor serves as the Physiotherapist Supervisor, conducting patient sessions and overseeing the physiotherapy team to ensure consistent, evidence‑based care. Her leadership and expertise help patients improve mobility, comfort, and overall quality of life.

Maryam Alnajjar is a graduate of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Jordan (Class of 2024). She is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), with certification obtained in May 2025. Maryam has a strong professional interest in the assessment and management of lymphatic disorders, and is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. She is dedicated to supporting patients through effective treatment strategies that improve function, comfort, and quality of life.

Lamees Al‑Zuraiqi is a physiotherapist with a BSc in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Jordan. At our clinic, she provides specialized care for patients with lipedema and lymphedema, including manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), compression garment management, and patient education.
Her approach combines strong technical skills with empathy and clear communication, ensuring that patients receive evidence‑based, supportive care that enhances comfort, mobility, and quality of life.
