Dr. Feras Taqatqeh is a highly experienced specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery with a strong focus on the surgical and conservative treatment of Lipedema, as well as body contouring. As the founder and director of the specialized LipoXpert Clinic in Amman, he follows a holistic treatment approach that combines the latest surgical and conservative techniques with personalized aftercare, nutritional counseling, and patient-centered coaching.
After completing his medical studies at Ruhr-University Bochum and earning his doctorate with the highest honors (summa cum laude), Dr. Taqatqeh began his clinical career in general and visceral surgery. He later specialized in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery at several renowned clinics in Germany. A particularly formative period was his time at the University Hospital in Dresden, where he deepened his expertise in body contouring after massive weight loss and functional reconstruction.
His surgical spectrum includes advanced liposuction techniques (such as water-jet assisted liposuction, WAL), body lift procedures, and complex reconstructive surgeries following trauma or tumor treatment. He also has many years of experience in microsurgical flap procedures and aesthetic surgery. In addition, he is a certified hand surgeon.
Dr. Taqatqeh’s scientific commitment is reflected in numerous peer-reviewed publications on reconstructive techniques and post-traumatic restoration—especially in the context of complex wound healing disorders.
